2013 Vipassana light @ Pelion

Retreat: vipassana light.
Teacher: Henk Barendregt.
Meditation style: Mahasi Sayadaw: walking meditation and sitting meditation focussing on raising and falling of the abdomen, towards the increase of wholesome mind-states and the decrease of unwholesome ones.
Period: 6-16 July, 2013. Starts at 19:00 with registration and an evening meal at 19:30. The retreat ends on July 16th at 11:30.
Location: the comfortable Hotel Alexandros at Pelion, Greece,
located at Anilio (not in Volos) on the road to hotel Eden towards the coast.
Both Anilio and Hotel Eden are on Google maps.
Schedule: 06:00-13:30. After that free time to go to the beach, walk, read. Daily interviews and dhamma talks in the evening. Some working in kitchen, garden. When going to the beach one practises the right speech (keeping other four precepts). Daily interviews. Evening dhamma talk.
Prices: full pension per person for 10 days: 325E in tent, 380E in triple room, 490E in twin room, 650E in single room. [Prices may change in case of Force Majeure.]
Reduction: if the number of participants is at least 12, 14, respectivly 18, then there will be a discount of 5%, 10%, or 15%. This latter reduction brings down the prices to respectively 277.25E, 323E, 416.50E, and 552.50E. Meditators from the Balkan countries 33% reduction on lowest price.
Arrival: travel to nearest airport Volos to be organised by participants. Pick-up from airport or city may be requested. Maximum number of participants 24.
